As a Technical CAD Designer, you will create 3D Models, assemblies and engineering drawings in Solidworks to support new product designs and the manufacturing of Custom Retail Display Fixtures to transform abstract design concepts into high-quality, manufacturable products. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an ambitious and energetic team. You will be involved in the entire life cycle of product development—from initial creative brainstorming to final production, with a focus on technical execution in Solidworks.
Responsibilities:- Design & Documentation: Create and maintain detailed 3D models, assemblies & engineering drawings, ensuring both manufacturability and design innovation
- Innovation Leadership: Drive product innovation by applying material and manufacturing expertise to improve product outcomes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Managers and Vendors on quality and technical compliance, providing constructive feedback during design reviews.
- Create: Maintain CAD libraries, templates and design SOP standards.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Advanced in Solidworks.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members.
Industry Experience: Experience in wood or metal manufacturing, with display fixture industry a plus.
