Licensed Psychiatrist

Headway is seeking a Licensed Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality, accessible mental health care within our tech-enabled platform. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for diverse patients. You will prescribe and manage medications, collaborate closely with therapists and primary care providers, and leverage telepsychiatry tools to expand access to care. Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans for diverse patient populations Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring efficacy and side effects Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and care teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and insurer requirements Utilize telepsychiatry and digital tools to deliver accessible, patient-centered care Participate in case consultations, clinical reviews, and quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and crisis resources Adhere to ethical, legal, and compliance standards in all clinical activities Psychiatric diagnosis and differential assessment Psychopharmacology and medication management Telepsychiatry/virtual care delivery Suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Evidence-based therapeutic modalities familiarity (e.g., CBT, DBT) Interdisciplinary care coordination Regulatory and insurance documentation compliance Clinical decision-making and risk management Patient communication and psychoeducation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Psychiatry in relevant state(s) of practice Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry Valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
