GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONLoJac is currently seeking talented Hydrovac Operators, who are dedicated to professional growth for our company. Hydrovac Operators are responsible for operating and managing hydrovac trucks to perform excavation jobs. This position is also responsible to complete projects in a safe and timely manner. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESComplete hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging as needed for specific jobOperate hydrovac trucks and equipment safelyInspect grounds for safe zones, safety precautions, and other hazards at every job siteComplete all paperwork in a timely manner as needed by managementConduct routine maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure proper working orderOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork overtime if needed by supervisorStand, kneel, walk, etc for long periods of timeAble to take OSHA courses to ensure safety knowledgeAble to take First Aid courses to ensure safety knowledgeAll other duties as required by business needsQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOBMinimum High School DiplomaWork in Construction industry 1 year (Preferred)CDL License-Minimum Class B with a Tanker Endorsement (Preferred before hire, but not required) Clean MVRMust pass background and drug screen prior to hireMust be able to drive a manual truck
