That's the conversation I'd like to have with you. I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment, and I'm hiring a personal injury defense partner for a firm in Orlando. The firm works together in the office, and the partner who joins will be at the center of a team that values being in the same room.
The role: Leading a docket of personal injury and bodily injury defense: motor vehicle, premises and general negligence Trying the most significant cases as first chair Setting strategy on high value files and advising clients on exposure Leading, training and reviewing the work of associates and attorneys Owning relationships with insurers, TPAs and self insured clients Contributing to how the Orlando practice grows On books of business A portable book is preferred, not required. A book will naturally feed into the compensation discussion. But if you're a proven trial lawyer whose clients have always sat with your current firm, you're still very much who I want to speak to. What you'll bringExtensive personal injury or bodily injury defense experience, with a real trial record Leadership: you've managed people and files at the same time Strong standing with claims professionals Compensation and hours$200,000+, negotiable on book and experience 1,950 billable hours a year Based in the Orlando office Why it appeals to partnersInfluence over the practice, not just your own docket A close team where good associates are developed properly Clients who want a lawyer prepared to go to verdict A central Florida market with plenty of trial work
