APPLY NOWProduction Technician I & IIMiele Manufacturing Inc. is seeking Production Technicians to join the Assembly team at the Opelika Plant. In this role, team members will perform assigned assembly steps for ovens and/or modules according to detailed specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Production Technician I:Follow detailed work instructions (SOPs) and meet assembly routing times
Cross-train in pre-assembly and final assembly operations, including:
- Mains connections
- Continuous flow heaters
- Fascia and viewing screen assembly
- Door and E-box assembly
- Maintain the highest quality standards for all products
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements
- Perform visual inspections of components (completeness, SKU accuracy, damage)
- Review work orders, production specifications, and technical instructions
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment
- Production Technician II:Meet all requirements of Production Technician IPerform functional testing of assembled ovens using semi-automated test benches
- Complete final packaging operations, including final quality checks
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED12 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for data entry and system use
- Ability to safely operate machinery and tools
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of production processes preferred
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
