Job Description:- An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a second shift Production Assistant who will help the production manager.$19/hr. Plus full benefits2nd shift
- Tuesday – Saturday 02:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Training during the first 30 days will take place Monday–Friday
- Somerset, NJRequirements of the Production Assistant:
- Experience in working in a production environment, preferably in food manufacturing, but open to othersHS Degree or equivalent required
- Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office SuitesAble to communicate, read, and understand in English
- Knowledge of the applicable processes and related equipment
- Responsibilities of the Production Assistant:
- Monitor production lines and GMP areas and report issues to the supervisor
- Log line stops and losses via Teams
- Contact Maintenance or QC as needed
- Follow SOPs, SSOPs, and company policies
- Flag noncompliance and unusual data in records
- Support training for new line workers
- Keep workspace clean and safe
- Enter and manage production data
- Ensure daily production goals are met
