They are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee chemical processes, maintenance operations, and environmental compliance across production.
The Role:
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising chemical maintenance activities, supporting production uptime, and ensuring compliance across all chemical handling, waste management, and safety protocols. You will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, maintaining chemical systems, and leading a small team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support chemical maintenance and production staff
- Oversee plating tank chemistry, batch treatments, and tank changeouts
- Maintain chemical inventory (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Manage hazardous waste handling and compliance (RCRA, DOT, etc.)Perform and oversee waste inspections and environmental safety protocols
- Schedule and maintain filtration systems and chemical equipment
- Ensure production uptime through proactive maintenance
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and handling of chemicals
- Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and reporting
- Enforce safety standards, PPE compliance, and housekeeping
What We're Looking For:- 5+ years of experience in chemical maintenance, plating, or industrial manufacturing
- Strong understanding of plating tank chemistry or similar process environments
- Experience supervising or leading teams in a production setting
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and environmental compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Wastewater Treatment License (Class C preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 (based on experience)
