Job Summary:
Novo Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position in a public school district in South Holland, IL for the 20262027 school year. Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and address limitations in student occupational performance
- Collaborate with educators to adapt classroom activities for student access and participation
- Support alternative learning methods and educational assessments
- Develop and implement behavior strategies and positive behavior supports
- Promote sensory, motor, cognitive, and self-help development
- Facilitate inclusion through customized programming and accommodations
- Assist students in building functional skills across school environments
- Encourage participation in leisure and extracurricular activities
Qualifications
Required:
Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License, Valid PEL, Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Preferred: Experience with Special Education, ASD, and pediatric populations
