Campus Tutor

Qualifications: Education/Training Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or Higher Education Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check Special Knowledge/SkillsFluent in Spanish Effective communication and organizational skills ExperienceMinimum 2 years teaching, instructing, or substitute experience working with youth Major Responsibilities and DutiesAttend training in the specific campus tutoring program to be provided. Manage learning materials and create student materials for specific lessons. Provide instruction in Math, Reading, or Writing. Relate positively to students and develop respectful relationships. Keep information about students and achievement confidential. Prepare lessons and reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles. Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process where available. Assess student progress and report to classroom teacher. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents required. Daily attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
