APPLY NOWBenjamin Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced, polished Host/Hostess to join our New York City team. This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant serving a discerning, high-profile clientele. The ideal candidate must deliver exceptional hospitality both in person and over the phone while remaining professional, organized, and composed during busy service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
- Answer calls with excellent phone etiquette and hospitality
- Coordinate table flow with management and the front-of-house team
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and discretionQUALIFICATIONS
- Previous host/hostess experience in fine dining, upscale, or high-volume restaurants preferred
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Excellent in-person and phone communication
- Polished, professional, and confident demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- NYC restaurant experience preferred
