Read and use a tape measure accurately to fulfill customer orders. Pull, stage, and prepare lumber orders for customers and deliveries. Stack, load, unload, and move lumber and building materials throughout the yard. Assist customers with product selection and order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and yard operations guidelines. Support general yard, warehouse, and inventory activities as assigned.

Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. Experience Requirements Entry-level position; training provided. No formal education required. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Ability to identify different types and sizes of lumber. Basic math and measurement skills preferred. Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, construction, landscaping, material handling, or order picking environment is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic required. Physical Capabilities Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift. Ability to safely handle and move lumber and building materials. Must wear steel-toed boots and follow all safety requirements. Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
