APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)A ~$50b alternative asset manager in Midtown Manhattan is looking to add an ABS Investment Associate Director/Associate to its growing team on a hybrid basis (3x in office per week). This is a true investment position with an emphasis on someone bringing strong Excel and Intex to the table. Compensation is competitive.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, source, structure, and execute investment opportunities across ABS/CLO landscape
- Contribute to all phases of the investment process
- Lead negotiation of term sheets and credit agreements
- Interface with counterparties; build/develop relationships; manage deal flow and investment pipeline
Qualifications:
- 2-8 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of structured credit fundamentals
- Exceptional structuring/underwriting background and skilled in Excel and Intex
- Experience analyzing loan agreements, negotiating covenants is a plus; credit structuring experience is a plus
- Self-starter with high personal and ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree
