Avis is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Rental Service Agent to join our team in Concord, NC! Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers throughout the vehicle rental process from check-out to return
- Process rental agreements, payments, and reservations accurately using rental management systems
- Upsell vehicle upgrades, insurance coverage, and additional rental services
- Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure fleet readiness before customer pickup
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with lot staff to ensure vehicle availability and proper staging
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to Avis policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn rental software systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
