Assistant Branch Manager – Consumer Finance

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a fast-paced consumer finance branch. In this role, you’ll support daily operations, supervise and coach team members, and deliver short-term credit, installment loans, and check cashing services to underbanked customers. You’ll ensure strict compliance with regulations and company policies while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and store growth. This role offers hands-on training, performance incentives, and clear advancement opportunities in branch and regional leadership within a performance-driven culture. Support store manager in daily branch operations for consumer lending and financial services Assist with staff scheduling, coaching, and performance to meet sales and service goals Provide compliant short-term credit, installment loan, and check cashing services to customers Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards Handle cash management, transaction accuracy, and reconciliation procedures Resolve customer issues professionally while maintaining high service standards Monitor store performance metrics and help implement process improvements Help train new team members on products, systems, and compliance procedures Promote products and services that meet underbanked customer needs Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment Branch operations management Consumer lending processes Cash handling and reconciliation Regulatory compliance in financial services Customer service in retail financial environments Sales and cross-selling of financial products Staff coaching and training POS and loan management systems Conflict resolution and de-escalation Basic financial and performance reporting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k NMLS registration may be preferred or required depending on state regulations Prior cash-handling or banking/financial services experience Knowledge of consumer lending and short-term credit products Familiarity with state and federal consumer finance regulations
