SWEAT Ambassadors help create the welcoming, high-energy experience that makes SWEAT feel like home. At our Shaw studio, Ambassadors are an extension of the SWEAT team and serve as both communityambassadors and classroom assistants. While Ambassadors are not coaches and are not responsible forprogramming or leading class, they work alongside our coaches to make sure members have what they need, the studio stays ready, and classes run smoothly. In exchange for supporting the Shaw studio during designated shifts, Ambassadors receive acomplimentary SWEAT membership. MEMBER EXPERIENCE & HOSPITALITYWelcome members and help create a friendly, positive studio environment. Encourage members to use self check-in through the SWEAT DC app or studio iPad. Learn members' names and help everyone feel seen, supported, and connected. Keep customer-facing areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready. Help create the hospitality and community experience that makes SWEAT Shaw feel like home. CLASSROOM SUPPORTAct as a classroom assistant to the coach during class. Help members get weights, equipment, wipes, or other items they may need during class. Assist with moving, switching, and organizing equipment throughout the workout. Help spot members when appropriate and within the Ambassador's training and comfort level. Help the coach keep the room organized and the class moving efficiently. Support members without taking over the coaching, programming, or instruction responsibilities of the coach. STUDIO RESET & OPERATIONSHelp reset equipment between classes. At the end of the final class, reset the studio and equipment so the room is completely ready for the next day. Help with towels, organization, cleaning, and basic studio upkeep. Flag low supplies, maintenance issues, broken equipment, or other studio needs to the appropriate SWEAT team member. Treat the studio like your own home: if something looks out of place, address it or communicate it. COMMUNITY & CONTENTCapture authentic Shaw moments, including member milestones, celebrations, class energy, and everyday studio life. Take photos and short videos that can be used on SWEAT social channels. Upload content to the designated SWEAT shared folder so it can be used for future posts and marketing. Help recognize and celebrate our members and strengthen the Shaw community. LIVE OUR CORE VALUESDevotion - Care deeply about our members, our team, and the experience we provide. Inclusion - Make everyone feel welcomed, respected, seen, and like they belong. Fun - Bring positive energy and help make SWEAT a place people genuinely enjoy being. Challenging - Encourage members to push themselves, grow, and get more out of their experience. Inspirational - Lead through your actions, attitude, and energy and help others believe in what they can accomplish. Our core values should show up in how Ambassadors interact with members, support coaches, care for the studio, and represent SWEAT.
