Barton Mines Company is actively hiring a Process Equipment Operator to join our North Creek, NY operation. We are a well-established business producing the world's highest quality garnet abrasives that are used in industrial and commercial settings worldwide. We have been mining and milling in the Adirondack Mountains since 1878, and our family-owned company is one that is founded on culture, integrity, and excellence and has been doing so for more than six generations.

We offer competitive pay ranging starting at $20.00-$21.40 per hour, based on shift assignment, with opportunities for growth through on-the-job training. This position works a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, 4 days on and 4 days off; 5:00am to 5:00pm and 5:00pm to 5:00am.
