Under the overall supervision of the Compliance Officer, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
Enhance the execution of OIM's compliance programmes.
Create and update policies and procedures for disclosures (in addition to annual disclosure required by the UN), to detect patterns of unusual activity, conflicts of interest and information management in due time. Review OIM policies that have compliance component and monitor related activities.
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects to ensure compliance and that all matters of surveillance, risk considerations and developments are properly tended to by reviewing alerts and ensuring timely reviews of activity and the disposition of such alerts.
