Locum - Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology - Interventional Sacramento, CA

Shift times: 12 hours 0900-2130 (somewhat flexible start)

Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat schedule weekly

Setting: Telemetry and Pre/Post Cardiac UnitFTE: 0.9 (full time)

Duties: Individual functions independently, in collaboration with Cardiologist/Hospitalist to manage the care of pre and post procedure cardiac interventional patients. Facilitates the progression of the cardiac interventional patient from admission to discharge post procedure. Required Procedures: NoneEMR: Cerner Support Staff: Works in collaboration with nursing, care coordination, physicians Reason for Coverage: Long term LOA and need to cover until the position can be replaced. Deal breakers (do not present this): Looking for NP with recent hospital experience caring for cardiac interventional/surgical patients to fill this role.
