Pharmacy Technician

Required: Pharm tech license and National certification 2-5 years of experience as a Pharm tech required Job Description Summary: Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, assists with ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in accordance with client Health policies & procedures, and the state's professional standards & regulations.

Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing: Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to OCH policies and procedures. Assists with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies. Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and informing supervisor of any defects.

Patient Support & Experience: Collect & maintain basic patient information required to ensure accurate planning of needed materials/supplies, equipment, and prescriptions. Help ensure a positive patient experience through answering basic patient questions and responding to basic patient requests.

Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs): Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations. Excellent organizational skills. Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching. Ability to carry at least 30lbs
