Job Description:
SHY Aviation is a global private jet charter company and brokerage founded in 2011. Headquartered in Central London, the firm provides end-to-end luxury travel solutions, including private jet hire, helicopter transfers, and large-group charters.
This is a remote position.
After fifteen years in London and the UAE, we are building our business in the United States, with a New York office opening in 2027.
The role:
We’re looking for one of our first US-based advisors to build and manage SHY’s commercial partnerships across the country with sector-adjacent businesses that look after UHNW clients. You’ll work remotely from anywhere in the US, and you’ll be their aviation desk: quick, discreet, and invisible to their clients where they want it that way. Their clients remain theirs.
You’ll report to our US launch lead and work alongside our London operations team.
What you’ll do:
Identify and sign partners across the US, such as bespoke travel agencies and concierge companies.
Build long-term relationships with the decision-makers and the day-to-day bookers in each partner.
Handle partner charter requests from enquiry to confirmed flight, including tight turnarounds.
Source and quote across US and international operators, balancing value, safety and availability.
Agree commercial terms with partners and manage them over time.
Make SHY easy to work with: clear quotes, fast responses and no surprises for the end client.
Grow partner revenue to agreed targets.
Represent SHY at US industry, travel trade and partner events.
Keep partner and pipeline records accurate in our CRM.
Requirements:
Proven B2B or channel sales experience in private aviation or another premium service in the US.
An established network among businesses that serve UHNW clients.
Sound commercial judgement on partner terms and margins.
Discretion, and an instinct for protecting a partner’s relationship with their client.
Clear, concise communication and close attention to detail.
The drive to build something new.
Self-directed and comfortable working remotely, with regular travel to meet partners and attend events.
Working knowledge of US operators, Part 135 and DOT broker requirements is an advantage.
$100,000 base salary plus uncapped commission.
Health, dental and vision insurance.
Paid time off plus US federal holidays.
Supplier familiarisation flights.
Fully remote, with occasional travel to New York and London.
Clear progression as the US team grows.
The chance to shape SHY’s US business from the start.
