Business Development & Sales Representative

Bring the Sales Skills. We'll Teach You Flooring. Carpet City Flooring Center is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven salesperson to join our Racine team. You do not need flooring experience to be successful in this role. We can teach you the products, estimating process, and flooring industry. What we're looking for is someone who already understands how to sell: someone comfortable starting conversations, prospecting for new business, following up consistently, building relationships, and turning opportunities into customers. This is primarily an in-office/showroom-based sales position at our Racine location. Your home base will be the showroom, where you'll assist customers, manage projects, develop leads, prepare quotes, and build your sales pipeline. You won't spend every day on the roadbut you also won't wait for every opportunity to walk through the front door. When it makes sense, you'll get out into the community for scheduled prospect meetings, customer visits, networking opportunities, and other business-development activities. On-Target Earnings: $60,000$90,000+. This position pays the higher of base pay or earned commission, giving you the security of a guaranteed base while providing the opportunity to increase your earnings as your sales grow.
