Overview:
Express Employment North Hollywood is seeking several detail-oriented and skilled Deburrer's to join our Client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from machined components to ensure they meet quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine operation, precision measurement, and blueprint interpretation, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties:
Operate deburring machines and hand tools to smooth and finish machined parts.
Interpret mechanical blueprints to identify specific deburring requirements for each component.
Use shop math skills to calculate measurements and ensure accuracy during the deburring process.
Perform precision measurements using appropriate tools to verify that parts meet specified tolerances.
Follow safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment during all production activities.
Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring burrs are properly removed without damaging the component.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper handling of tools and equipment.
Skills:- Experience with machine operation related to deburring or finishing processes.
- Strong understanding of shop math for measurement and calculation tasks.
- Proficiency in precision measurement techniques using calipers, micrometers, or other inspection tools.
- Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
