Caregiver for Children At SYNERGY HomeCare of Piscataway in Plainfield, New Jersey, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to children with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or complex medical conditions in a home-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each child
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Engage in activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development, including play therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care and progress
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and collaboration
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education, social work, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Basic life support certification (CPR/First Aid) and TB test required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
