Kforce has a client that is seeking a Group Leader in Flint, MI. The main function of a Group Leader is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Job Responsibilities:- Group Leader will recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency* Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems* Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems* As a Group Leader, you will hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances* Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records
Requirements:- * Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods* Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and manage one's time
