As a leading provider of emergency vehicle upfitting solutions, we equip police, fire, utility, and other essential service fleets with the technology and equipment they rely on every day. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Public Safety Vehicle Installer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to be part of a team that builds mission-critical vehicles that keep communities safe. If you have experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle upfitting, fabrication, and hands-on installation work, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with a growing industry leader. We will consider training the right candidate who has electrical and installation experience and/or aptitude.
Responsibilities:- Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
- Install emergency vehicle equipment including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, etc.
- Install cameras, computers, and related equipment
- Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
- Organize tools and inventory
Qualifications:- Experience with public safety vehicle upfitting
- Experience with 12V electrical systems (i.e. Whelen products, etc.)Experience with material fabrication
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Knowledgeable using hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation and Benefits:
$22.00 - $28.00/hr. based on experience Full-Time/non-exempt Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career growth opportunities
