Job Summary:
As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home care and companionship to seniors and veterans. Your role will help clients maintain their dignity, safety, comfort, and independence while receiving support with daily living activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide medication reminders
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or well-being
Encourage independence and participation in daily activities
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff
Qualifications:
Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Reliable transportation
Willingness to travel within a 20 mile radius around Houston
Ability to work with both male and female clients
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care
Schedule and Availability Part-time positions
Flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability
Weekend shifts available
Overnight shifts available In-office orientation required
