EHC is currently looking for a Threading Machine Technician for a client located in the Hammond, IN area.
Hours:
6:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:30 am - 6:30 pm$18.00 - $21.00JOB SUMMARY:This position is primarily responsible for threading, grooving, and beveling material that meets industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Machine operation “groover” machineGrooving pipe for 8 hoursRuns pipe through machine – pipe is either 20' or 40' in lengthPipe is fed into machine from a nearby rackAssist other team members when time allowsAny other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or managerRESPONSIBILITIES:Machine operation “groover” machineGrooving pipe for 8 hoursRuns pipe through machine – pipe is either 20' or 40' in lengthPipe is fed into machine from a nearby rackAssist other team members when time allowsAny other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 lbs. occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects
- Work involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing ladders and staircases
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, rain
