APPLY NOWHatcher Pass Avalanche Center (HPAC) seeks an Avalanche Forecaster or Assistant Forecaster for the 2026-2027 winter season in Alaska. This seasonal, part-time position (30 hours/week) involves independent and collaborative work to collect and analyze field, snow, and weather data to produce public avalanche advisories for backcountry winter users within the HPAC forecast area.
Responsibilities may include helping with events, education, and community outreach.
