Salary: $80,000–$85,000 (Up to $90,000 for the right candidate)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:30 PMOur client, a well-established and growing company in the construction services industry, is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume commercial collections environment and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to drive results. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the collections process for a large commercial portfolio while working closely with Sales and Operations in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 commercial customer accounts
- Perform high-volume B2B collections through phone and email outreach
- Follow up on past-due invoices and negotiate payment arrangements
- Research and resolve customer billing disputes in partnership with Sales and Operations
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account records
- Prepare and analyze AR Aging, DSO, and other collection reports
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Sales team to review collection strategies and outstanding balances
- Maintain strong customer relationships while driving timely collections
- Prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) collections experience
- Experience managing a high-volume commercial portfolio of 300+ accounts
- Strong account reconciliation and dispute resolution experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and reporting
- Experience preparing AR Aging and DSO reports
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 (flexible up to $90,000 for highly qualified candidates)
