What you'll be doing:- Leading, mentoring, and developing the design team while maintaining design standards
- Producing and reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical reports
- Conducting site assessments, forensic investigations, and system diagnostics
- Serving as a technical advisor to clients and internal teams
- Coordinating with project managers, field staff, contractors, and stakeholders
- Supporting proposal development, project planning, and long-term service strategies
- Ensuring all deliverables meet code requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
What we're looking for:- 8–15+ years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, or building-envelope design
- Strong expertise in roofing system detailing, material selection, and construction documentationPE license, RRC, or RRO preferred, or the ability to obtain
- Proven experience leading teams or managing complex technical projects
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with owners and contractors
