APPLYProduction Assembler CoWorx Staffing is seeking motivated production assemblers to support the assembly and production of high-quality hand tools in a manufacturing environment in the Saco, ME area! Whether you're looking for full-time hours or a part-time schedule, this is a great opportunity to develop hands-on manufacturing skills in a team-oriented workplace.
Pay:
$16.00 – $17.00/hour (Entry Level) ($18.00/hour- Experienced Candidates) Part-Time or Full-Time Available Shift: Monday-Friday | Flexible Schedule Within 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assemble hand tools and related products using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Rivet blade assemblies and other component parts
- Perform deburring, rounding, tipping, and finishing operations on parts.
- Operate production equipment such as rotary grinders, bench grinders, belt sanders, drill presses, and other pre-set machinery.
- Remove burrs and adjust blade assemblies for proper cutting action.
- Position and remove parts within punch press dyes.
- Perform drilling and reaming operations using jigs and fixtures.
- Assemble grips, springs, and additional components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Package completed products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Desired Background/Skills:
- Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow verbal, written, and visual work instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
