Your Role in This Journey Conduct thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests while crafting unique care plans tailored to individual needs. Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or independently based on your credentials. Provide education to patients and families surrounding wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies. Prescribe medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice. Engage in patient follow-up and assist in managing chronic care pathways. Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Meticulously document all interactions within electronic medical records (EMR).Educational Background Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required. A completed and accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Necessary Certifications Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization.
