Applied AI Engineer: ML & LLMs for Local Lab Intelligence

ASTRO is looking for an Applied AI Engineer to create the intelligence layer for its connected labs. You will develop machine-learning models for manufacturing and test data, build LLM tools to search technical information with references, and evaluate model performance on local hardware. The role focuses on enabling local model deployments and experiments that enable cross-site learning without moving raw data, using open-weight models and on-site resources where available.
