Dental Assistant

Mirasol Walk Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and patients throughout treatment. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, assisting chairside, maintaining patient records and inventory, and following safety and privacy protocols. Dental procedures knowledge is required; dental assisting or x-ray certification may be required under Florida rules. Welcome patients and help maintain their comfort and provide education during treatment. Review patient health histories and document relevant information. Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments, including digital scans and photography. Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and follow infection-control, OSHA, CDC, and safety protocols. Maintain patient schedules and records, manage supplies, and support office workflow.
