Supporting Navy Contract Clients in a hybrid remote capacity, the full-time Junior Design Engineer & CAD Drafter will engage in CAD drafting, engineering analysis, and technical documentation while collaborating with senior engineers and project managers.
Key responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in translating functional requirements into design models and drawings
Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software
Ensure compliance with government standards and maintain drawing file managementRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Systems Engineering, or an Associate's degree in CAD/Drafting Technology with relevant experience
0 to 2 years of professional or internship experience in engineering design or drafting
Proficiency in CAD modeling and technical drawing production
Working knowledge of 3D Modeling/BIM platforms such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Revit
U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory
