APPLY NOWSeeking a highly motivated Math Curriculum Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a remote contract position, the expert will enhance asynchronous math courses such as AP Calculus and Algebra 1 by updating assignments and assessments based on a detailed course audit, focusing on standards alignment and student engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Revise assignments and assessments to align with learning objectives and incorporate modern strategies
Redesign assessments for rigor and diversity, implementing authentic assessment strategies
Maintain consistent communication and meet deadlines while working independently on course material updatesRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field (Master's preferred for AP courses)
Demonstrated expertise in AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Algebra 1, or Geometry
Classroom teaching or curriculum development experience for grades 5-12
Experience designing standards-aligned assignments and assessments
Ability to create interactive/multimedia math content
