Work Environment: Our rehabilitation center in New Windsor, NY, fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. As part of your daily routine, you will interact with diverse healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physical therapy aides, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive patient care. The clinic maintains a steady flow of patients, allowing for a dynamic and fulfilling work pace. Operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, providing a consistent work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical functionality and needs, using established assessment methods and tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, clinical best practices, and patient goals. Provide hands-on therapy using a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and strength. Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation process. Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and functionality. Engage in regular consultations with other health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care. Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help these clients regain their confidence and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications: Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster meaningful relationships with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience with specific orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and a passion for patient education will be considered assets.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 110,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
