Home Care Certified Nursing Assistant

Action Health Staffing is seeking a compassionate Home Care CNA to provide direct personal care to clients in their homes across North Carolina. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and basic exercises; monitoring and reporting changes in condition; performing light housekeeping and meal preparation; and supporting medication reminders per care plan. CNAs will collaborate with nurses, follow care protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold infection control and safety standards while delivering respectful, client-centered care with professionalism and reliability. Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and basic range-of-motion exercises Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to supervising nurse or office staff Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and adherence to dietary needs Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean home environment Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and families Follow individualized care plans, infection control, and safety protocols Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided Coordinate with nurses and staffing office for scheduling and care updates Uphold client dignity, privacy, and professional boundaries at all times Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Safe transfer and mobility techniques Vital signs monitoring and basic patient observation Infection control and standard precautions Home care documentation and charting Meal preparation and safe feeding assistance Housekeeping in a home-care setting Medication reminder support per care plan Use of mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, gait belts) Communication with clients, families, and clinical staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active North Carolina CNA certification (or compact-eligible equivalent) Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and health/work eligibility screenings Experience with home care or long-term care preferred
