Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8-hour shift
We are actively hiring a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor / Drug Counselorto join our established outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP).This is aW2 position with guaranteed hours- not fee-for-service. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling (average 8-10 client sessions daily)
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans
  • Complete timely documentation in EMRMonitor client progress and support recovery goals
  • Participate in supervision and team meetings
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff
  • Maintain compliance with program policies and regulatory standards
  • Travel up to 15% for client-related activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred ORMaryland credentials: LGADC, LCADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT, LGPC, LCPCExperience in substance use or behavioral health preferred
  • Strong documentation skills
