Company Description:
BBL Freight, Inc. is a veteran-owned, full-service transportation and logistics company providing freight solutions throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We specialize in truckload, LTL, drayage, intermodal, and specialized transportation services. Our success is built on strong customer relationships, dependable carrier partnerships, competitive pricing, and exceptional service. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced freight brokerage sales professional who wants to play a meaningful role in growing our customer base and building a highly profitable book of business.
Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive – Freight Brokerage with a proven track record of acquiring new shipping customers and developing long-term, profitable relationships. This is primarily a new-business sales position, not a dispatch or load-tracking role. The ideal candidate is an experienced hunter who understands the freight brokerage industry, knows how to engage transportation decision-makers, and has demonstrated success generating revenue and gross profit. You’ll have access to established operational resources, carrier relationships, transportation technology, and management support, allowing you to focus on what you do best: developing customers and growing your business.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, prospect, and secure new shipping customers across the United States.* Develop relationships with transportation managers, supply chain directors, procurement teams, and logistics executives.* Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective customers.* Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and onboarding.* Identify recurring freight opportunities and develop long-term customer partnerships.* Collaborate with internal pricing, carrier procurement, and operations teams to develop competitive transportation solutions.* Grow customer shipment volume while maintaining strong gross profit margins.* Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunities within the company’s CRM.* Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and strategic business development initiatives.
Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of freight brokerage or transportation sales experience preferred.* Proven track record of personally acquiring new shipping customers.* Demonstrated ability to generate profitable freight brokerage business.* Existing shipper relationships or an established book of business strongly preferred, but not required.* Experience selling FTL, LTL, drayage, intermodal, or specialized transportation services.* Strong understanding of transportation pricing, gross profit margins, and customer acquisition.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.* Ability to independently prospect, manage a sales pipeline, and close new business.* Experience using CRM and transportation management systems.* Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive base salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience.* Uncapped commission based on eligible gross profit.* Additional earning opportunities for exceptional sales performance.* Full-time remote position.* Established carrier network and operational support.* Technology and sales resources to support business development.* Opportunity for long-term professional growth. What Makes This Opportunity Different? At BBL Freight, we believe experienced sales professionals should spend their time developing relationships and securing new business—not chasing drivers, collecting paperwork, or managing routine shipment updates. Our goal is to provide the operational infrastructure and support necessary for successful account executives to build substantial, profitable customer portfolios. We’re looking for a motivated professional who wants more than just another sales position. We want someone who takes ownership of their results, values long-term customer relationships, and is excited about helping build a growing transportation organization. If you’re an experienced freight brokerage salesperson with a proven ability to win new shipping customers, we’d like to hear from you.
