APPLY NOWRoleSenior geneticist specializing in population genetics and causal inference within immunology drug discovery, focusing on autoimmune diseases.
Responsibilitieslead systematic reviews of genetic evidence for immunology targets, apply Mendelian randomization and other causal methods to large datasets (e.g., UK Biobank, AllofUs), interpret GWAS, exome/genome sequencing, and multi-omic data to prioritize and de-risk therapeutic targets, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate findings into drug development strategies.
Requirements:
Ph. D. in genetic epidemiology, statistical genetics, or related field; extensive experience with large-scale human genetic datasets, Mendelian randomization, and causal inference techniques; proficiency in R, Git, and genotype data tools.
Preferredexperience with fine-mapping, colocalization, immune genetics, multi-omics integration, and external collaborations.
High-Valuefocus on immunology (rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology), autoimmune indications, early target evaluation, and genetic evidence assessment for drug discovery.
Work setuproles based in Indianapolis or Boston, with a focus on collaborative multi-disciplinary engagement to support target prioritization decisions.
