Prepper/Caulker: 1st Shift

Location: Reading, PAHow You Will Make an ImpactThe Prepper/Caulker is to prepare the bodies and parts for the powder coating process, conduct final detailed inspection, and rework to ensure that the parts and product will exit the powder coat process with no flaws or defects. This position will also perform precision hand caulking and binding operations such as caulking, gluing, inspecting, pasting, etc. The Nuts and BoltsSands, grinds, finishes, caulks and prepares truck bodies Responsible for manually pushing/pulling equipment and parts from inventory based on the job order Responsible for moving equipment to other work areas via roller system or overhead crane Responsible for sanding, scraping and precision hand caulking/binding Required Credentials Manufacturing industry background experience preferred Prior experience with hand tools preferred How We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
