Business Development Representative

Location: Remote within the United States or hybrid from our Milwaukee office.

What You'll Do: Ramp up on warm accounts during your first 60–90 days so you learn our services, our clients, and how we win — then transition into building your own pipeline from scratch. Proactively source and generate qualified leads across our core industries: personal injury law, home services, education, and other lead-generation businesses. Build and run your own outbound pipeline through cold calling, cold email, and networking. This role is about creating opportunities, not waiting on inbound. Run discovery and first meetings with prospects, understand their goals and current marketing challenges, and position our services accordingly. Build and present tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close new client contracts. Build your own pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies using our performance data and AI tooling. You won't wait on a marketing queue to get in front of a prospect — you'll have what you need to move fast. Represent Kinetic Sequence at industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate new opportunities. Keep your pipeline and activity accurately logged and up to date in HubSpot. Hand off closed clients cleanly to our account management team. You'll stay lightly involved — an occasional check-in or report call — but your focus stays on what's next. Stay sharp on digital marketing trends and our service offerings so you can speak credibly and confidently with prospects. What You Bring2–4 years in an outbound sales or business development role — you know how to build a pipeline from scratch and you're ready to step into a closing seat. Genuine comfort with cold outreach and rejection. A no doesn't slow you down. Competitive, self-motivated, and driven to close. You hold yourself accountable to your numbers. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to sell to business owners and decision-makers. Familiarity with digital marketing or advertising is a plus but not required — we'll teach you the product if you bring the sales instinct. Experience with a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and comfort keeping your own pipeline organized. Comfort using AI tools to work faster — drafting outreach, researching prospects, and turning our performance data into materials that sell. Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup, with occasional travel for industry events. Who This Job Is Not ForSomeone who needs a lot of direction to stay productive. This role runs on self-starters who create their own daily momentum, not people who need a task list handed to them. Someone expecting to inherit an existing book of business. After your ramp period, you're building your pipeline through your own outreach — not managing relationships someone else already won. Someone looking for a relationship-management role. This is direct, hard-nosed new business sales: cold outreach, objections, and closing. If you want to nurture existing accounts, this isn't that role.
