Audio Visual Technician Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the specialty insurance and financial services industry, is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining corporate AV systems, including conference room technology and digital displays. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Crestron, Extron, Neat, Polycom, and other AV technologies. What the right candidate will enjoy! Collaborating with vendors and internal teams on technology upgrades. Taking ownership of AV projects from installation through completion. Traveling to different office locations to support AV initiatives. Working in a hands-on, fast-paced corporate environment. Responsibilities of the right candidate: Install, configure, and maintain corporate AV and video conferencing systems. Troubleshoot AV equipment, including Crestron, Extron, Neat, and Polycom technologies. Support conference room setups, digital displays, and meeting room technology. Review CAD drawings and floor plans to coordinate AV installations. Work with vendors and contractors to manage equipment orders, installations, and repairs. Test and maintain AV systems to ensure reliable performance. Travel to office locations to support new construction and AV upgrades. Experience of the right candidate: 3–5+ years of experience with corporate AV systems and installations. Hands-on experience with Crestron, Extron, Neat, Polycom, or similar technologies. Experience with video conferencing systems, digital signage, and conference room setups. Ability to read CAD drawings, floor plans, and technical designs. Experience coordinating AV installations with vendors and contractors. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Familiarity with ScreenCloud, Bluebeam, Samsung, Sharp, or Chief is a plus.
