- CNC Operator-Wood Details:
- Temporary position$ 25.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 02:00pm)
- Operate CNC woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and position wood materials for processing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders. Set up and adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality issues.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools as needed, including drills, nail guns, and saws.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- CNC Operator-Wood Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.Technical/trade school certification in machining, manufacturing, or CNC operation preferred.1 to 3 years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience (varies by employer). Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, routers, or other automated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Understanding of basic machining principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of measurement tools such as: Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Dial indicators Ability to perform machine setup, tool changes, and offsets.
