Senior Accountant (Real Estate Development) Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, 1 Remote)
Salary: $90,000–$110,000 base + discretionary bonus
A well-established real estate investment firm is seeking an Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of accounting and financial reporting activities while supporting a variety of real estate investment and development projects. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a real estate, construction, or project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle accounting activities for assigned projects and entities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance
- Assist with cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Review invoices, expenses, and supporting documentation
- Support financial reporting and year-end audit processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy
Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience
- Real estate, construction, or project accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
