San Diego, CAMode of work : OnsiteWe are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and automating enterprise Linux/Unix platforms across VMware-based on-prem and hybrid environments. Ensures high availability, security compliance, and operational stability of mission-critical banking applications. You will also act as an L2/L3 System Engineer resource, working across IT Infrastructure teams in a regulated banking environment.
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in Linux Administration
- Strong expertise in Puppet (configuration management)
- Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Experience in production support / incident management
- Scripting: Bash / Python
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and storage systems
- Experience with ITSM (incident/change management)
