Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead plant operations for an established food manufacturing company specializing in innovative sous vide food solutions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee production, plant operations, maintenance, quality, inventory, and distribution.
Improve productivity, efficiency, product quality, and operating costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and production targets.
Lead and develop plant management teams.
Drive continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
10+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.5+ years of direct plant operations or production management.
Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with manufacturing ERP systems and operational performance improvement.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
