CPC certification is required.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing medical records and charges for accurate coding
Preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies
Ensuring coding meets payer requirements and applicable regulations
Maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Communicating with providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve coding and billing questions
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, and medical office software. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
