Vet-Owned. People-First. Be part of building something from the ground up. AcutePet Urgent Care is opening in West Cleveland (Avon) later this Fall- and we're intentionally assembling a small, founding team of veterinarians who want more than just a job. This isn't stepping into an established hospital with fixed systems and legacy culture. It's helping define one. If you've ever wanted: A voice in how a hospital operates Input on workflows and team culture The chance to shape urgent care medicine in a growing community High-quality medicine without overnight ER burnout This is that opportunity. Why Avon? Avon sits in the heart of Cleveland's growing west-side corridor, surrounded by family-focused communities, strong primary care veterinary relationships, and increasing demand for accessible same-day care. This location allows AcutePet to support pets and families across Avon, Avon Lake, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Bay Village, Rocky River, and the surrounding region. AcutePet Avon will bring emergency-level medicine into an urgent care setting giving local pet owners a more affordable, accessible option while supporting, not competing with, the primary care veterinarians who know these pets best. You'll see cases like: Lacerations and minor traumaGI obstruction workups Toxin ingestions Acute vomiting/diarrhea Urgent diagnostics and stabilization All without overnights or major holidays. Who This Role Is Built ForThis opportunity works beautifully for: Emergency veterinarians ready to step away from overnight intensity while still practicing high-level medicine Experienced GPs who want to expand diagnostic confidence in a supportive environment Newer doctors eager for hands-on mentorship and structured growth in urgent care We're hiring founding DVMs who want to help establish the clinical tone and culture of this hospital from day one.
